1984 is the best book I've ever read. I've read it multiple times and I keep wondering if the Inner Party controls Eurasia and Eastasia, as well as Oceania? For instance, are their posters of BB all over Eurasia, is their a minipax in Eastasia? If this is true, this is the most brillant plan ever.

If you read the book carefully, you'll read that Eurasia and Estasia are ruled by the same kind of regimes, though the non-existing entities known as Big Brother in Oceania, are bound to exist (as the equivalent of Goldstein) in Eurasia & Estasia w/other names. The three regimes are different in name only, for Estasia, it has something to do with the cult of the dead or stg like that, it's depicted more accurately in "Goldstein"'s "Book"

an excerpt which will tell you more about the three twins states: life in all three super-states are very much the same. In Oceania the prevailing philosophy is called Ingsoc, in Eurasia it is called Neo-Bolshevism, and in Eastasia it is called by a Chinese name usually translated as Death-Worship, but perhaps better rendered as Obliteration of the Self.

'The Book' was created as a tool of The Party itself, thats my belief anyway. So it is very possible that there are no such compenents as 'Oceana', 'Eurasia' an 'Eastasia', and the world is infact (perhaps unbeknown to itself) controled by one big party. One Big Brother.

Thats how I understood it.
