Maybe you mean Ada Byron? (http://www.agnesscott.edu/lriddle/women/love.htm) , Lady Lovelace, daughter of poet Lord Byron.

There is a Linda Lovelace, but we won't go into details about who she is
Hm might help... (while googling I found also this Linda Lovelace's name...I'm curious now...)
So this is the quote I found in relation to this Lovelace name which was isolated with no help to understand much else...:
I could not love thee, dear, so much,
Lov’d I not honour more.
To Lucasta, on going to the Wars
Can anyone help me to find a context to all this? So is this maybe a poem she wrote?
