I would like to warn all writers to avoid WRITERSWORLD Limited. WRITERSWORLD is a print on demand book publisher based in the United Kingdom. The owner is Graham Cook.
We were in a an agreement that Today’s Woman would publish all members books through WritersWorld, he did not pay me for advertising or pay me the profit from those I referred.
He then contacted my husband and his college for a mini web portal system costing 1200. My husband and his college started the project. My husband contacted him in April and told him the project was almost done and would need half of the 1200 dollars before completion.
Graham agreed to pay that, several weeks went by and we did not hear from Graham. Graham contacted us lastThursday and said he would transfer 600 hundred dollars into our bank account.
Hours from the phone call that said he would transfer the money VA paypal he was writing to say he did not have it because he loaned it to a family member for tires, despite him telling us that the 6 hundred would be no problem and that he would transfer the money from his credit card.
Therefore my husband is out 1200 hundred and still has to pay his college for his half of the job. I’m out money, plus a manuscript I sent him that I have no idea what he did with and his promises to publish one of my members books for free. Proceeds were suppose to go to hospital bills from her cancer.
There are several warnings on the internet about Mr.Cook, you can read more here http://www.todays-woman.net/publishing.html
