Oil of Olay is advertising a poetry contest for female writers on the main site.
Simply go to online-literature.com and refresh a couple times till you see the ad. I think it'll be running through August.
There are like 7 $2000 prizes.
Unfortunately it is for female writers only.
Why unfortunately? ;) ;)
Any links? I wanted toknow more about it as it sounds interesting, but I can't find it...

Definitely not a scam.
Just look on the main site for one of the big yellow banner ads at the top... you might need to refresh a couple times.
Unfortunately because I'm not a woman.
I was kidding about 'unfortunately'...
But I don't see any ads at the top...
Why for female writers only?

KOA,
It might be targetted for US Citizens only.

I was wondering about that, but I wanted to read the rules or whatever to find out...
Is this why I can't see the advert? I didn't think adverts could be 'limited' per area but I guess it's possible...
Nevermind :) (They're missing a real talent though...ah ah ah lol :D :D :D )
Yes, I understand "oil of olay" isn't exactly a 'virile' or 'masculine' product - it is also to be found in Dutch shops! - but that doesn't make me get the point: why can't a male poet write about the 'oil of olay'-feeling?
I mean: who feels the effect of "oil of olay" better? A women using it, or her (male) lover? ;)

Oh ya... ads are limited by geographic area all the time -- they use your IP address to figure out which country you are from.

Wait, I forgot about the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy. Scratch that idea.

I just had an amazing revelation....
The Army should make a new rule concerning Gender... if the recruiter doesn't think it is obvious which gender you are, then there should be a don't ask, don't tell rule... and special bathrooms for those of questionable gender.
lol...

Right... I didn't know that but it makes sense.
By the way, just for general information... Oil of Olay in Italy is called 'Oil Of Olaz'...yes with Z...I wonder why (and when i was a child I hated the adverts because I couldnt understand why they pronounced it like 'ov' and not 'offffff', as I would do in Italian... :D lol I hated the English language at the time ;)

Give it up, Fool . . . we all know you just want to dominate the indexes. ;) Everyone did that yesterday, no one does it anymore.
I could never understand the marketing appeal of rubbing `oil' on one's face, why not just eat some Kenducky Fried? :x :o
