okay question..
im writing a paper comparing f. scott fitzgerald to jay gatsby from The Great Gatsby. however im confused on what tense to use in the paper. see when i talk about fitzgerald's life i would normally use past and when you talk about literature you are supposed to use present....
what should i do?
