Shadows dancing all around
A presence of strangers...

Count the steps one-by-one
Suddenly the shadow's gone!
Face to face with someone I knew
It must have been ages...

Looking really deep, in hope of finding what I feared most.
Steered clear of any questions, I'm not ready for the hidden ghost.

Reached, without reaching in
Pulled aside my mirrored twin
Issues from the past, I know
Surreal and contageous...
Steppin' in, steppin' out
Cries, but no one hears me shout
Slowly caving in to the past
I switched with my strangers...

Looked really deep and found what I feared most
