Beowulf is a very impressive work in several aspects:you can see,in Beowulf,all of human aspirations.Also there is great loyalty towards Christianity.In all aspects it can be regarded as a great mitology.Here we see Beowulf fights against a huge creature and his mother.Grendel is the creature;it is said to be a precedent of Cain so it is not liked by humanbeing.That makes Grendel a bit angry and it gains a negative attitude against humanity.In a sense Grendel is innocent;it is just a victim of Fate.Anyway,on the whole,Beowulf is very useful for the ones who are interested in literature;it can be a good helper for advanced reading.Also,the conflict between Christianity and Paganism can be the real focus of that work.Long but really enjoyable.....
