I am glad that Beowulf is on your list of online books. It is an early important work that is compleatly enveloping. If you enjoy heroic epics this book is up your alley. It should be read not in excerpts but in full to cast the full value and depth the author intended, remember that it is a story much like that of Homer, with noteable differences granted, that should be told as a story even recited as it was in the days of the bard that took down the great deeds of Beowulf in empowering verse
