He normally confined his reader to a single theme and fly with that.<br>“Love” one of his masterpieces<br>“the bear” is also a wonderful and very amazing play by him.

Agree "The Bear" is priceless. About as funny as it gets. I like the part where he tells her that he has gilted 10 women and 10 women have gilted him, whatever the number. Amazing that he keeps track. Chekhov understood people at their funniest as well as saddest.
