Hello There. well first of all good luck wiz ur research. second, i don't think that u will be disappointed when u read checov for he is such a sensitive person. He has insight into human soul, when u read his novels, plays or short stories, u may just find ur self walking, talking, eating, laughing, crying througout the pages. U find ur self in Checov's world because it's a world full humans, no ornaments, no decorations, just simple humans. I would like to recommend to u a short play by Checov entitled "The Swan Song" . u will find it online but i don't remeber the link. Just go into google and write the name of the play and ENJOY
