I was perhaps 13 when i got hold of this book.I m a junior now and i have to read novels all the time for my english class,so i naturally chose this book which has never ever left my memories.When i first read it the only thing i understood was this book dealt about a family. A mismatched couple and a son who survived solely with the love of his mother.Never ever has a book intensified me as sons and lovers did.<br>Though it is really touching and rare that a son should love his mother so much as a Paul morel did but i cannot stop myself form lathing Paul alittle. What love is that that made him kill her instead of trying to spend his time with his dying mother.<br>In summery the story mainly revolves around the strong relationship of a son and the mother which ultimately ends in the of the mother at the hands of the son.
