I have just finished reading this book, appendix and all! Firstly i was finding it hard to read, but i think thats because i'm having to read it as a study text. But stick with it as i think the ending is a traditional love story... i loved the latter chapters of both part 1 and part 2.<br><br>However... and i know that life does not go sweetly and well, but do not read the appendix as it just shows how bad modern life can be. <br><br>i'm going to forget i read the appendix, and live in the disillusioned ideal that people can live happily ever after, with no hitches and bumps... hell knows i'm happier there.
