i belive that this novel was interesting and Thomas Hardy wrote it very well. However i disliked how Tess was taken advatage of and how he made her character give into men especaially men who portray the devil. I hated how after she forgave Angel she was ready to wait on him. That ticks me off when i see women feeling as if they should allow men to run them over. although i hated some of the events that took place it was an okay novel.
