Hi! i would just like to say i'm in year 10 and as part of our coursework we have to read and write an essay on Tess of the D'urbervilles. For lovers of english literature this is a brilliant book although it is quite tricky to understand. However, for a teenager this is definately not a first choice of reading material as we are at the peak of youth and this book is very advanced and extremely depressing, i warn you! Overall this book is good reading material but only for those who are deeply involved in english.<br>
