This is one of the books that has had the biggest emotional impact on me. Its amazing. It really seems to be a view of things to come. I think the mentions of "before the war" give such depth to a shallow world. People live for shallow pleasure ignoring their history. They live as drones living pointless hopless lives. Many readers can identify with this feeling. Huxly's finest hour.<br><br>J.
