I belive the same thing as you do and yes this is very great book for the poeple who actually understand english because i am from Puerto Rico (hispanic) and it is very hard for me to understand this book with the weirdness of it all but the cloning is what i belive that very important because it all ready exist and that is very scary to write a book talking about cloning people and then in a future it is acually happening that is weird but very cool!

I am an English teacher at a college prep school in Kansas City, KS and I teach this book every year to my sophomores. It is a great book to connect science fiction with what is going on in the world today. We have a bunch of activities from Attack of the Clones to Invention an Invention, teaching students to enjoy classic texts with modern activities.

I've been in ny boarding schools (http://www.teen-boarding-school.com/) before when I was 9 y/o and this is one of my favorite contemporary science fiction book. A great book that has character, action, thought and story.
