Brave New World is already happening in today's world and we are doing nothing about it. We don't have hypnopaedia but we do have commercials on t.v. 24/7. We are programmed to be good little consumers just like in BNW. We don't care if we are being influenced by media conglomerates, we think we need the products but we don't. In Brave New World, the World Leaders capitalize on our laziness by making all pleasures(women) very easily attainable. Corporations do the same thing today; McDonalds, for instance, is well known to be very unhealthy but the "fast food" craze makes billions on lazy consumers. It appears 632 A.F. is closer than we think.
