I read this book for the first time at the age of 13 or 14, followed it a couple of years later with "Animal Farm" and then "1984". These 3 works shaped my early, as well as later thinking to a large degree. I would hope they have not created a cynical thought process; perhaps it is just my own personality. For those interested I think follow up readings of Kurt Vonnegut's "Cat's Cradle", "Siren's of Tital", and of course "Slaughter House 5" would be in order. Some one once said that if we were to face the complete truths of our lives we would never get out of bed in the morning.
Happy Readings,

Charlie
