Huxely, a great satirist cautions us, in his novel,Brave New World, not to plung into economic gloryand forget that before one can change the world he/she first have to change him/herself.<br>The World State is anemic, and lacks that which is most vital to achieve individuality and character; it lacks truth, without truth one can not trully experience happiness. This is evident when John declares to Mustapha Mond that, the only time he felt trully happy was when made something with his own hands, and this act brought him a sense of achievement. Happiness can not exist without truth, Mustapha had incorrectely associated the absence of pain and suffering with truth. In one of Huxley's quotes,he stated that,"An unexciting truth may be eclipsed by a thrilling lie.
