Perhaps you couldnt get into the book because you are so engrossed with what you call "life" that you couldnt grasp the almost blatently subtle meanings that saturated the entire work?

I just read Brave New World for class. I must admit that the book goes into some very important issues that apply to today's world, god, relgion, cloning, popularity, social groups, goverment, and ofcourse technology. Also Huxley was amaizing for writing a book like this so many years ago. But the book was hard to get into and at some parts of teh book it was not clear what point was being made. All in all I did not really enjoy the book but it makes people think... if technology will ever go to far where we have no control over ourselves??
