I have fallen madly in love with all of LMM's books. She is a brilliant authoress and I wish I could have met her in my lifetime; her imagination is so vivid and descriptive that it comes out in every one of her books. I feel like I've known Anne Shirley, Rilla Blythe, and Emily Starr for years thanks to the amazing way that LMM conveys their emotions, hopes, and dreams. My personal favorite book of hers is Rilla of Ingleside, although I am not entirely finished with the Emily of New Moon series and those have been truly excellent as well. Rilla's passionate sorrow, and love, and happiness was so real to me in that book, I felt every one of her emotions along with her through every page. I highly recommend reading every book written by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
