I'm in 6th grade and im 12 years old...i read Anne of Green Gables when i was in the 4th grade and i cannot get over how anyone can write such beautiful books!Ever since i read it I want to become more like Anne every day.Now Im getting back into the series beginning back again with Anne of Avonlea..it is so wonderful!!!I want to live in Green Gables and be Anne.I just absolutely love it!!I can dream while I'm reading this book and those are the kind of books i like.I feel like i want to keep this book a secret so it can only be my wonderful dreamy book...thats impossible obviously but no one can feel what I do when they read this book.no one.
xo,Elizabeth T.
Dear Elizabeth,
maybe you would not believe it, but I absolutely understand your feelings. When I wast at the age of 10 to,lets say 15, I feel completely the same way you do now. I could not imagine, some else could understand Anne as I did, some else could love her the same way. I even argued with my sweet beloved sister and did not allowed her to read the book. Shame on me!
Now I am 23, and I see thigs "a bit" different :-)
But Anne, and the whole work of Lucy Maud M. remains to be my passion. Its only few days ago I have discovered the L. M. Montgomery Insitute on the web, and other sites related to PEI & LMM. And I am amazed!! :-)
I wish you an open heart for the life, great imagination and a lot of kindred spirits around you.
with love Ivka
ps: how do you feel today, like Beth, Betty or Elsie...? ;-)
take care of you

Yes, it is good to be a kindred spirit to Anne.
