I just finished this book, and I think it was actually quite wonderful! But I am having a little trouble figuring out what Axel was really like...was he a know-it-all or was he a shy boy who just knew lots of things about science? I thought that the first one was more accurate because he was constantly trying to correct his uncle, and constantly doubting him.
