Dreamers
Miguel de Cervantes
Dremaers dreams can only last so long.
"Here lies a gentleman bold who was so very brave. He went to great lengths untold.(pg.2782). Don Quioxte wentto great lenghts of the imagination. He dreamed of all the adventures that he could go on. Also he carried out his paln for, these dreams to become reality. He dreamed of bringing back humor and tradition, to his era and time. Don Quixote just wanted to fit in, and he did this through his dreams.
"In the last days, God says, I wil power out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams." (Acts2:17). His whole life was a dream for him.Don Quixote believed that he, could fit into the world only by dreaming. He wanted something to look forward to in his life. Portraying and acting as a knight waas his way of dreaming. He not only had a dream, but a quest to have adventures.
"The world is a canvas to our imaginations. (David Thoreau).
Don Quixote's imagination was big. He dreamed of different adventures and dreams for him and Sancho. He was a brave knight who wanted peace, where there was none. He defintely protected all the damsels in distress. DonQuixote made sure his Dulcenia was protected.
Don Quixote was a man who dreamed until his life passed.
