Why? WHY! Please, tell me why? Why would it hold your attention as it did? Was it the characters, plot, literary meaning? Why would "captivate" you? Give me something to think about please.

Why do you care? 'Give me something to think about please"??? ... I'm sure you can find something to think about on your own. Surely you can't be so deprived of mentally stimulating ideas!!!. Instead of drilling other people for ideas why not go grab some yourself? If you have good ideas, share them ....... and if people choose to share an opnion, then that's their right, there's no reason for you to hammer them with questions they obviously didn't answer the first time around!

it was a great book that i absolutely loved. it kept me captivated to the very end of the book!!!!!!!!!=)
