I disagree. You can't blame him for her death when all he did was confess what he felt to her. She killed herself. He didn't "force" her to do anything. It was her choice. And as far as "putting her down", kids in the third grade get talked to worse then what he said to her by their parents... I dont think the solution, at any point of time, for them was to kill themselves.

I thought that this book was amazing, i do belive that you can blame Dorian Gray for the dealth of Sibyl. Although she had killed herself, he was the one who put her down and forced her to end her life
