clearly there has never been a more awkward silence filled, over dramaticized, and over rated book in the history of my english career. Who can relate to these characters? sure its a cute love story that has a bitter end, but whats the point really? Ethan shoulda just stayed with zeena the whole time, mattie didnt really speak, and the only good she did for this book was give the reader some bit of drama at the end. Honestly, Edith Wharton, what were you thinking?
