The book had a slow begining but towards the middle it picked up. It was a very interesting piece of literature and I'm glad I read it, only now I have to write an essay on it and I'm having a little trouble. Was it a tragedy of circumstances where they had no control over their destiny.... or was it a tragedy of error where they had control and could have adverted it if they had made better choices? The book is very descriptive but I am really having trouble finding enough to back up either of the two choices. Anyone's input would be helpful......
