I'm a junior in high school and we read Ethan Frome when I was a freshman. I absolutely loved it! Of course, I'm a hopeless romantic at times. But I found the story enjoyable to read, and even kept it after we had done with it. I was a bit disappointed in my class though, who believed that love wasn't great enough to be justifiable by what Ethan and Mattie did. Has everyone stopped believing in that great of a love?
