I disagree with you reasoning. My peers and I had to read the book too , but everyone's (male and female alike) thoughts were the same: "This book is a boring piece of crap." I, on the other hand, enjoyed it, even though I'm of the male gender. Maybe you only surveyed girls who enjoy reading, and boys who despise it. As for your other comment, yes the book could have been better, but considering the writer was a psychologically unstable woman, the book turned out just fine.

These reviews are hilarious. I must agree that the book was boring and aimed at a female audience. It was okay, but it could have been better. I think it's funny how differently men and women react to it, and how you can judge one's gender based on their reviews. I, too, was forced to read it. Curse English Lit....
