Everybody Loves Erik

Hey... I saw Howard as the Phantom too! <3 <3 <3 (those are supposed to be hearts!)
I haven't had a chance to see the show since then... *sniff* though I've listened to the soundtrack a few billion times, and I hope to see it again before the movie version of the musical comes out this December (!!!) , so the stage version will be fresher in my mind and I can compare the two. At this point Howard isn't there anymore :( but there's another guy, Hugh Panaro, who I've heard is also AWESOME :D

It's a little... odd... to comment on a book you haven't read yet! ;) While you're HERE, why don't you read the book? Isn't it right here, free online for you to read? It's A LOT different from the musical, but it's still a great book; it adds some more depth to Raoul and Christine's characters, and it just leaves your heart bleeding all over the floor for poor Erik :'( *awww*
(Erik is the Phantom's name, in case you don't know; they didn't mention it in the musical.) And be forewarned: Erik is a LOT uglier in the book than he is in the musical!

Just a couple of weeks ago i saw the Broadway Show Phantom of the Opera and fell in love with it. I have never seen such a moving performance on the stage then Howard McGillin and Lisa Vroman. I feel in love with the Phantom the very moment he took Christine into his laybrinth benith the Opera House. Raoul was compleatly romantic as well. I bought the sound track and i know every single word. There is know doubt about it, this was by far the best broadway show in the world. I have not yet read the book but plane to in the very near future. I am 13 years old and i talk about the show all the time. And my friends (who have no interest in broadway) are accually beliving it is the best play.

You know I think every Thirteen year old loves The Phantom of the Opera. I mean I'm thirteen and I know I do. I would always listen to The Phantom of the Opera CD when I was little. I watch the movie every night, I've seen the play, and yet I feel I can't get enough of it. So I have decided to move to Paris visit Opera Populaire and maybe search the Catacombs below (very unlikely but i can dream, can't I?! ;) )

Have you people read my life story? I mean you sound exactly like me. I obses over Erik all the time and I even got the book on CD so I could hear the story at night when I am to tired to read. But I am so envious of you. I have only seen the travelling production but that amazed me so I can't imagine the brodway production. My mother about had a heart attack when she saw how much the tickets cost for the traveling one. But it was worth avery penny, we sat in the second row asnd no one was infront of me!

I like Howard McGillin's Phantom too. He was so sexy! Plus, his singing voice was somewhat different from others.

I've seen the musical once and cannot wait to go again. Seen the movie several times, and I just fall more in love with it every single time! GO PHANTOM! (Or more appropriatly, GO ERIK!)
