I have a few comments. Firstly, this is an absolutely amzing book. Every aspect of it blew my mind. "Anonymous" said that the most shocking thing was that Erik "The Opera Ghost" really existed. Yes, Gaston Leroux wrote that but we must remember this is a work of fiction. Or at least is believed to be. Just because he wrote that means very little. It is possible it was based on a real man, who knows? And to Raven, I take great offense in calling Erik a villian. If they were to read the book more carefully, and get to know him as a person they would see him in a very different light.
