Piece of a poem

One day will looking through a box of papers from elementary school I found a small piece of paper. written on it was a poem, or a piece of a poem. It was:

Child of the islands
Child of the sea
Come with your people
Come to me

Can anyone tell me about this poem, or do you think I just made it up?
