I used to love it when he got his 'second wind'.

Alas, poor Hogan. I knew him, briefly, through the pixelated light of late-80s cable. So let the record show: though he was no Wallace or Pynchon or Salinger or even, say, Faulkner, the man was, in his own universe, a bard of the bicep. And alas, he will be sorely missed—even here, in our dust-jacketed enclave.

Hogan's weakness as a wrestler was -- well -- his wrestling. His finishing move of a boot to the face and a "leg drop" was -- let's face it -- pathetic. True -- he did body slam Andre the Giant once. But other than that.....
ON the other hand, he had the best entry music, the best shirt-ripping routine, the best speechifying, and, of course, as fudgetusk pointed out, there weren't many pro wrestling moments better than seeing the Hulkster cup his hand to his ear to allow the crowd to give him a "second wind".
