I can't say that I've ever read a more meaningful, powerful, or thought-provoking book in my life. I'm only half-way through Siddhartha, but already the book has made me look at my life through different eyes. If I could, I would personally thank Hesse for writing such a book, or better yet, Siddhartha himself for having the courage to question life and its purpose.
