All I can say about Joseph Conrad's novella, Heart of Darkness, is blahhhhh.<br>It is possibly THE worst book I've ever been forced to read. (Second only to The Metamorphosis) Right now, I am working on a term paper on the novel for my AP english class and from everything I have a read on the book, it is indeed a masterpiece (in that it does delve into the darker reaches of the human psyche), however with all of the "fancy vocabulary" and distorted, ambiguous sentence stuctures it is too difficult to truly find the real meaning of the book. I suggest you read this book only if you're ready for a loooong nap.
