Heart of Darkness was an okay read. Once I got started, it didn't take long to read; however I didn't really get much from it. Maybe if I read it three or four times I would have cared more about the 'human spirit' part of it, however, it wasn't that bad. The wording might have been hard for people with limited vocabulary, but it wasn't bad for me. All in all, it was a worthwhile read, since now i have one less AP Lit book to read. That, and it beats poetry. :)
