Sometims ago I have heard that every second person in the world feels alone. I feel alone, not physically, but mentally. Am I crazy or....?

I'm not sure of the math but if you ask the question you're not crazy in my uneducated estimation.

In Feb 2021, during the pandemic, a Harvard study was made in the USA: "Our report suggests that 36% of all Americans—including 61% of young adults and 51% of mothers with young children—feel “serious loneliness.” Not surprisingly, loneliness appears to have increased substantially since the outbreak of the global pandemic." ... https://mcc.gse.harvard.edu/reports/loneliness-in-america
