I actually have gotten myself in a rut. My high school english professor asked us to write an essay to "trace the role that this capitalistic society plays in the life of Jurgis and his family" or basically How and what part does Jurgis play in the "machine". Well the society or Machine plays such a major role I dont know where to start. If anyone has any ideas it is much appriciated. thanks!
