I agree with you totally about not getting into for about 100 pages.... I think around page 80 I started to become interested and I'm now on 140 and don't want to put it down...unfortunately I have to write a paper on it that's due in 2 days and have to put it down and find information online b/c I won't have time to read it all and write it...but as soon as this paper is finished I'll read the rest of it!

If you are forced to read this you may not like it but if you choose to read it...and you are an aging 23 year old alchoholic stuck in a dead end job after graduating high school you will see alot of similarities to the jungle and your own life. we are still fighting wage slaver, It took at least a hundred pages to get into this book but by then I could'nt put it down.
