It's a good idea to have Bible installed on mobile devices. It makes usage faster and simple. But here is the case, the device may obstruct you with Facebook, notifications, Whatsapp messages, and a very high tendency of doing something silly...

I think the Devil is still manipulating many Christians to get stuck to worldly pleasures in a brilliant way.

I don't think so... I use my scriptures daily on all my devices: I can sync my notes, search, link, highlight, etc. across devices. Yes, the adversary makes use of electronics for mischief, and other things if we let him, that can distract one... Mute notifications if you must if temptation hits. My faith councils me to use electronics wisely at all times; to be in the world, but not of the world
