I actually just finished reading the novel today... it was very exciting for me. I had to watch the Disney version in French in French class and since I had no clue what was going on, I made up my mind to read the book. I had no idea what I was in store for. Hugo was able to make me laugh, cry, and teach me a few things about Paris along the way. It is a truly amazing story and I hope to read more of Hugo's works in the future.
