I am 14 years old and we read this book in school. I really liked this book and for those dum people who dont like it, you probably didn't undestand it or took the time t figure out what is going on in the story. Before i read the book, i saw the movie (disney). the movie actually insulted the book. The movie didn't make quasimodo look ugly and it was very different from the plot. i would suggest that if you saw the disney movie that you read the book by victor hugo. i admit that the beginning is slow, but it gets interesting near the end.
