The "first" french reveltion took place in the late 1700's after the United States. I am not sure of the years, unfortunetly, but later, after the reign of terror and such, Nepolian comes along, and this is the time of les mis,during the "second" french reveltion. I would sugest looking in a actual world histroy book, not nessicaritly on the web becuase it is a little more narrow in the battles and such.<br><br>Please excuse my spelling, English is not my first language.<br><br>Amanda
