I read Les Miserables a few years ago and it was the first book I have ever read that actually had a big impact on me, generated strong emotions from me, and was a real escapism for me. It was passionate, absorbing, profound, stirring, emotional, and just about any other thing that makes a book as amazing and brilliant as it is. I admit, during the first something-or-other pages I found it a bit... boring, but then after a while I started to really enjoy it. Especially when Marius came into the story. I fell in love with him. He was so passionate and dramatic and I really loved that. Of course, I liked all of the other characters, too, but Marius really stuck out to me. I know that I will never read another book as amazing as Les Miserables. Because there isn't one. Or at least it seems that way.

I could write for hours and hours about everything I love about Les Miserables, but I won't. I do have something to say, though--: if you read it and find it boring at first, please don't put it down, keep reading! :)
