So, after reviewing what I am reading right now, meaning the Hunchback of Notre Dame, I just had to sign in here. First of all Les Miserables is simply to me the greatest novel ever written! Plain as that. Then the songs of the musical are terrific. And I am so happy that I am going to see the Musical (as I am the greatest Musical worshipper on earth) with a friend in (gosh is it only?) two weeks! Then the two movies: the one with Liam Neeson (though I do adore him) was a deseaster! No less. Especially the facts that: Javert (my favourite person, yes, I am weird) was just cruel, no human whatsoever and second IT HAD A HAPPY END. I mean, Valjean was strolling allong after the evil Javert had plunged into the Seine and was WHISTLEING. The 4parter with Gerard Depardieu was way better, Javert was perfect in that one, there just was one problem: how could anyone want to couple Valjean and Cosette. She is like a daughter to him for god`s sake!
Okay, I better shut up and leave with: READ THE BOOK! Oh and I noticed that if you looked closed enough, every single person appearing really is a Les Miserables.
