To experience War and Peace is to earn membership in an exclusive club, of sorts. The commitment it takes to initially pick up this daunting novel and begin reading bespeaks a passion not commonly found.<br> To all the high school and middle school students who posted here- I envy you all. I only began to truly appreciate Russian writers in college, but you guys are ahead of the game. Read all you can of Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Chekhov, Nabokov, Pushkin...they will change your life!<br> And remember- anyone who would consider you strange for enjoying these works has: A. Never read them, and/or B. Couldn't begin to comprehend them if they did!
