What can I say about War and Peace? Well, not much. I am only twelve years old, and most of the book I didn't understand. To be sure, the novel will most likely grant me an enjoyable read in my later years, but as of now, the story holds little interest. I did read it all the way through, and the characters were colorful and realistic. And yet, they were to numerous. I found that the book had several different storylines running at once, and rarely did they interstect, and when they did it was for a short time. Personally, I would have focused more on Kutuzov's story, and perhaps Pierre's and maybe Pavlovna's but other than that, the love story between Sophia and Andre was more than a little tiresome. It didn't end anywhere, they both faded into the the amount of plots and subplots that is War and Peace. In all, I find this book becomes to complex and realistic to be an entertaining read for those of my age and probably even a few years older.
