I commute to my work an hour each way everyday. To reduce the boredom and get away from mind numbing radio shows, I subscribed to Audible.com. I downloaded and burned on CD, the unabridged version of war & peace and have been loving it ever so greatly. I cannot believe but greatly wonder that human existence, aspirations, weaknesses are the same whether in 1812 or in 2003, whether in Russia, or US or anywhere else in the world. By the way, I have also finished listening to unabridged version of crime & punishment. Again thanks to audible.com. If you do go to the site, and love the array of books they offer, and subscribe, would you put my name as recommender.
