personally while i quite agree its one of the best ever written i have to agree that i wish i knew what became of aramis. it says on the back of the book that it leaves him free to be scrupulous now that the others are gone. however ive got a better ending i think. remember in 20 years after that cross they swore upon well it seams to me that noble aramis suffering from guilt would see d'Artanan an porthos and mouston join the burial plot at athos's and he would reach a point were he could not live with himself for his betrayal of "all for 1, 1 for all" he'd go to his friend's grave make his confession to them and mummuring their motto stab himself with that cross to join them.<br><br><br>Snow
